| We have been working with Heather Hauser all summer to purchase the property next door to us on Kabekona Bay and are still working with her to get our adjoining properties estate in order. In all aspects of the purchase of the property and the advice to set up, and help with setting up an LLC to protect our other properties, she has been extremely thorough and professional, and has always made us feel like we were the only clients that she had to work for at the time. As you know, Tonya Gau and I recently purchased a Harriet Lake lot with the assistance of Heather Overgaard-Hauser. I am writing this letter to supplement your Satisfaction Questionaire. Upon first contact with Heather many months ago I told her that I wasn’t interested in signing any contracts or making a commitment to any one particular realtor. This wasn’t because of any past relationships otherwise, but I was realistic enough to understand my typical procrastination and pickiness at pieces of property. I have been looking for a lake lot for over 8 months now, and up until December, contacting the listing company directly. However, Heather called and offered her assistance and made it very clear that she was willing to meet me any day and any time of the week. This was great for both Tonya and I as we do not get “up north” as often as we would like and it is generally on the weekends.
Over the next few months we looked at many properties and Heather came to know what we were interested in and what we were not. I trusted her judgment when I inquired about various pieces that were less than acceptable for our criteria, but she also entertained me when I insisted on looking at any one particular piece- her intuition was right every time. She was never pushy either, something often exemplified by various realtors in the area. At no point during the numerous emails, phone calls or faxes did I feel that Heather was treating me as insignificant. I must say that I bothered her constantly about this property and that property. I never heard or felt her aim one negative or “I’m too busy” comment my way. She always had a positive attitude and I must say it was refreshing to speak with her because of the excitement she projected. Her professionalism with other agents and sellers was commendable and her honesty is comforting. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her.
Once the paperwork got rolling Melanie Ginos-Deegan was just as exceptional in getting us timely information and keeping us up to date. Because of the situation Tonya and I are in (a state apart right now), it was critical that everything be communicated down both lines and Melanie saw to that quite efficiently.
Heather commented frequently her admiration of working with you(Wade). She mentioned time and again that you(Wade) manage Leech Lake Realty with a style that will ensure the success of the company for a long time to come. Based upon my experience with this purchase I have to agree that you are doing something right. I have already forwarded your business cards to 3-4 friends that are tentatively looking for property near the area, stating specifically that they need to speak to Leech Lake Realty if they don’t want to get jerked around. This is not the first property I have purchased or own in Cass County, and will definitely not be the last. Tonya and I look forward to using Leech Lake Realty for the future sale of our 2 properties and buying our eventual “dream cabin”.
